Clearview Stoves Norfolk

The leading manufacturer of clean burning wood stoves. Clearview started on a quest to design and build a stove that would set new standards and quite simply be the very best. A stove simple to use, easy to light, highly efficient. One that could burn for long periods of time unattended, be incredibly well constructed using the finest materials and craftsmanship and with a wonderful view of flames behind crystal clear glass. These stoves are made in Shropshire by a team of skilled workers to produce a range of stoves which are considered by many to be the best in the world….

The heating season is upon us…..

We've had a busy couple of weeks here at James Isaac Stoves Ltd with some super wood stove installations in and around North Norfolk.
We installed a Clearview Pioneer 400 stove in a beautiful cottage in Cley-next-the-sea Norfolk. Another Clearview Pioneer 400 stove and chimney lining in Brancaster Staithe and a stove refurbish in Wells-next-the-sea.
James designed and installed a fantastic twin wall chimney installation with an Aarrow Ecoburn stove in Walcott Norfolk and has just completed a bespoke remodel, opening up a fireplace to form an inglenook, chimney liner installed and fitted a Clearview Pioneer 400 stove in black/brass.

And so it begins….

The start of a new fireplace refurbish……
Taking down the chimney stack, brick by brick…..

I'll keep posting on this project to show the complete overhaul of the existing fireplace and the installation of a Twin wall chimney system.

It's the most wonderful time of the year!

It's that busy time of year again at James Isaac Stoves & Chimneys. What with frosty mornings and longer colder nights we now have limited availability for installations before Christmas.

We would like to take this opportunity to wish all of our customers a Merry Christmas and a Healthy & prosperous New Year!

Thatched cottage

We've just completed a superb installation in North Lincs with a Stainless steel grade 904 Chimney Liner & Clearview Vision 500 stove.
We fire-boarded the oak beam, installed a bespoke fabricated closure plate and insulated the chimney with vermiculite insulation.
The Clearview stove is situated in a traditional inglenook fireplace.

Sourcing & storing logs to burn on your wood stove.

Poppy Bday. Sailing & Work 178
Cut your wood to the right length, about 3" shorter than the fire box in your wood burning stove. Split your wood before stacking as it increases exposure to air which improves the drying process. It is always best to stack your firewood outside, preferably off the ground, with a cover or roof over or in a well ventilated barn/outbuilding where the air can circulate around the logs. Store the wood for at least 12 months.
If you don't already have a supply of wood fuel for this heating season you will need to make sure the logs you buy are dry and already seasoned to ensure your wood burning stove works as efficiently as possible.
